Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
background check
i was terminated after 3 weeks ''in whole or in part'' due to a criminal background check.the unusual part is that i was with this company as a manager for 3 years prior in a different division.i left for a short time to another company and then was re-hired by the company in question. all info included in the check was from prior to my initial employment and very old ( i am a recovering alcoholic)
do i have any recourse?

Re: background check
You might want to have an attorney review their employee handbook and/or any contract language including memorada or correspondence given to you. Alot depends on the nature of the job and the damaging information.
Are they related? Are you bonded ?
In other words, your question needs a more complete context before an answer can be given.
