can i make my business partner buy me out if i feel he's running the company so he profits from it and not running it so we all can

Conflict in a closely held coprporation can come in many forms. When conflict occurs, often the business will have should have) operating agreements and/or shareholder control agreements that establish how things may be accomplished and how business interests may be alienated. that includes determining how and when a forced buy out may occur.

Without such agreements, the picture becomes a bit murky. We would have to speak with you about the nature of the busienss, the expectations of the parties and review any business formation records to advise you as to whether or not your buisiness must be dissolved or whether your interest in the business may be alienated.
