Can my employer require me to pay back hours I didn't work before I quit?
I am going to be quitting my job and was wondering if my employer can require me to pay back hours that I didn't work. Basically we had an agreement which allowed me flexible hours due to school and military obligations and that I was still expected to work 40 hours per week with an average of 8 hours per day. But because of my schooling and such I rarely was able to put in a full 40 hours, so I am now ''behind'' around 50 hours after several months of employment. Am I obligated in any way to make those hours up before I quit or is my employer entitled to compensation or should I be fine just putting in a two week notice and leaving?
