Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
Ending a contract with a refund
If I need to refund a client because they decided not complete a project with me. What do I need to send them or include on the check so they cannot take any legal action after cashing the check? I have a full Contract and Statement of Work, which in theory should cover me, but I want to be sure the check ends any future legal action.
