Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
Graduation Statement.
Section 1542 of the Civil Code
of California.
I have recently graduated from an On-Line University out of Wyoming.
Warren National University is requiring that I sign a statement that I understand and accept the Civil Code 1542 from California.
My question is:
What does this code mean?
Is this a normal process/procedure?
Who is being protected and from what?
Thank you for you help.

Re: Graduation Statement.
I would need to review entire document they want you to sign.
Most likely a choice of law/jurisdiction issue in the event you decide to sue for negligent provision of education etc.
Call or email for help.
