Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
Home Daycare
My daycare license was suspended on 2-1-08. Daycare is licensed for the basement only. Licensor comes in and checks the upstairs. We are currently remodeling. She got the Fire Marshall out here and he took notes. There are issues but did not state what they are and the Licensor came back out a few hours later with a temporary suspension of my license whereas it does not state the exact reason for such action. Shouldn't I have been given specifics before the papers were served? What are my rights and where do I do for legal counsil?

Re: Home Daycare
You should be given the specifics for suspension and the procedure for appeal. Since this is your livelihood, you should definitely take legal action. What county are you located?
