Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota

International Sale

Who has jurisdiction over a contract between the two parties of a international sale of an aircraft less than 550 hp. Would the court be held in the plaintiff's state or the defendant's state? If the seller is in the US and the buyer is in a foreign country and visa versa? Thank you!

Re: International Sale

Most contracts include a provision that indicates under what law the contract may be construed and where venue would be in the event of a claim of breach. Certainly, in lieu of contract language, the seller may always be sued where the seller is located.
