Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
Layoff and Severance package
The company I work for sold the customer/client base from one of their business units. The majority of the staff was let we go. The few that were not lwere offered a position the same or better with the company the client base was sold to. We were told if you do not take this position you are not eligible for Severance as it is same of better position. Is this legal?
