What happens if I run out of money to pay my lease? Can I get out of it?What are my options?

If you are broke (lost your job or other bad luck) notify your LL immediately.
They may try and re-rent your unit to minimize your liability. You may also lose your deposit if any.
Do not just delay:if you get evicted (have a UD filed vs.you) you will likely have problems ever renting again.
