Liability Question
I am an independent bodyguard in Minnesota, and need to know the legal parameters for Use of Force when protecting my principles [clients].

The license requirement is major. I once represented a gentleman who worked as a security guard, but was unlicensed. To put it mildly, he had a bad experience. He was charged with impersonating a police officer, carrying a weapon without a license, and a bunch of other stuff. Security guards are supposed to wear black uniforms, but my guy's uniform was blue - bad, bad, bad. Only cops get to wear blue.
