I need to know if I need a business license for the state of minneasota?

Well, that depends on the type of business and where it will be located. Depending on your business, you may need an occupational license from the state (cosmotolgy, for example), as well as local or municipal licenses (many municipalities require vendors and different types of businesses to have licenses -- door to door salesmen, for example).
