Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
In March of 2009 I signed a retention bonus agreement. It said if I left before 36 months I would have to pay back a pro rated portion of the bonus. I'm wondering if this document will hold up in the state of Minnesota.

Perhaps, if the contract was supported by legal consideration.
I would need to review the entire agreement before giving you a formal opinion.
These agreements are frequently the subject of negotiation upon a termination.
