Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
I am a Minnesota resident and hav.e never lived in iowa . An iowa residenT wants to sue me. Does the iowa court have jurisdiction over me?

Depends on the action ( nature of the lawsuit) and if there was a contract provision or other jurisdictional basis for bringing you into the Iowa Courts.
FOr example, if you committed fraud via computer or phone against an Iowa resident , you might be subject to suit there. Or if you signed a contract providing for Iowa jurisdiction.
