Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
how can I get money owed to me from a home improvement store that is going out of business. I worked as a contractor and was not paid for work I did in homes for them.

You have a few options here. It is impossible to say which options are best, though, without knowing more. Your predicament tells me that you should consult with an attorney sooner rather than later because you may forfeit some of your rights if you don't act quickly. You should also consult with an attorney to find a better way to structure your contracts so that this doesn't happen again.
