Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
Non-Competition
I'm currently working for a company that had me sign a non-competition clause I'm looking to go off on my own and need to know if any of the customers that I currently take care of were to decide to go with me at my new business, could my employer come after me for that. The clause states that I will not solicit, call on, accept orders from, or take away any customer from Employer. But it the customer choices to leave on there own from the company and come with me can the employer come after me for that.

Re: Non-Competition
I would need to review the agreement and consult with you to advise. MN law has very specific requirements to validate Non-compete agreements.
Call or email for further assistance.
I have substantial experience in both enforcing as well as challenging Non-competes in court in MN.
