Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
Paid Too Much by Employer
I used to work for UPS as a part time supervisor making salary pay. I left the company on very good terms for a advancement in my career and gave a proper two week notice to the company. I recieved my last payroll check and was paid the full month salary pay instead of only half that I worked and should of gotten payed. Am I obligated or required to pay the company back if they demand or ask for the money?

If I were you I would be looking carefully at my employment contract, if I had one, and I would be taking a close look at any employee handbook that there may have been.
UPS is a big company. They must have an employee handbook.
You are looking for policy about severance pay when someone quits or is terminated. The pay check could have been a mistake, or you could be getting some severance pay.
Take a close look at the paycheck itself also. It might indicate what's going on.
Finally, it would not hurt to just call payroll and ask them. If it's an error it would be best to find out right away, instead of having them after you later.
Good luck.
