Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
I own a repair shop and sold a set of tires to a customer. I have not received any money for the tires. My question is do I have any legal right to go and take the tires off of the car?

Not if the car has left the shop.
You otherwise would have a lien for the improvement to the vehicle under MN Statute, but not after it's gone. Then you would need a Security Interest in the tires attached to your contract,.

The other attorney is right on point here. Once the car leaves the shop, your recourse is to sue the customer (probably in small claims court).Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
