Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Minnesota

My fiance attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself in our home, the sheriff arrived first on scene before paramedics however didnt attempt cpr, can i sue the blue earth MN ploice dept due to him later dying?

It would be difficult. You would have to show that the police breached a duty and that the resuscitation efforts would likely have succeeded. Without knowing more, it is impossible to respond further
