Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Minnesota

Hello, I'm currently renting a house. Residing in the house beside me is my daughter and mother. My landlord filed no trespassing warrant against my sister. Because of the no trespassing warrant has been file she cannot visit me, her niece or our mother. Is this legal? What can I do to reverse it?

P.S. I never signed the notice the police sent over. Neither had my mother.

Based on the information you provided it appears that your sister is not allowed to be at the house that you are renting. Although there is no Court Order stopping your sister from seeing you, her niece or your mother- she cannot do so at that property as long as the trespassing warrant is in effect.

The only thing that will be likely to change the current Trespassing Warrant is to ask the landlord to dismiss it. The fact that the notice was not signed by you or your mother does not change the circumstances.
