want my rights to own carry a firearm for hunting, I had a possession crime 2nd degree in 2001, I have been drug free and have never, had any problems in the past 14 years and just like to take my kids hunting

The best way to do this is to hire an attorney to file a petition to reinstate your firearm rights. It is not necessarily a quick process, and some review of the situation is required to determine the proper course of action. But it is normally possible.
