Do you think it will save states money to drug test welfare recipients? Why do you think Minnesota has not passed a law like this?

I assume you are saying that if an individual on welfare tests positive for illegal drugs that they would not be eligible for welfare. Thus, theoretically, saving the State of Minnesota money.

No. Based on the number of welfare recipients. The fact that the vast majority of them would not test positive. The amount of funds and resources to actually test those collecting welfare. The right individual would have to challenge the decisions of a government agency. The cost for drug testing would far outweigh any benefit.
