Legal Question in Technology Law in Minnesota
My husband was deployed to Iraq for an 18 month deployment from 2005-2007. During that time, I took some photo's of myself to send to him on a disk. The disk was stolen by my 1st cousin. The police department and the DA say there is nothing I can do to prevent him from looking at them. He copied them on to two different computers. Is that true that there is nothing I can do? I feel so sick and am in therapy as a result. Is there anything I can do?

File a police report for the stolen disk. And sue him for copying copyrighted photos. You likely won't be able to recover Much money but those are avenues available to you.
