Legal Question in Construction Law in Minnesota
holding checks
We are a family owned buisness and have frequent problems of getting paid on time. Is there a time limit for a check to be paid? or a statute stating this problem?

Re: holding checks
No. It is entirely based on the terms of the contract. Many contracts indicate that the fees are payable within a certain time period after which an interest rate applies for unpaid fees.
