Legal Question in Construction Law in Minnesota

recovering attorney and/or court cost

If a contractor files an erroneous suit and I win CAN I SEEK COSTS INCURRED? He filed against me forcing my counter claim at great expense. I won. It was appealed & denied. Now he's appealed again claiming predjudice which means even more expense. (State of MN.)

Re: recovering attorney and/or court cost

I am a little confused about the procedural posture of your case. Did the contractor file in conciliation court? Did he remove it to district court? Are you at the court of appeals now? What kind of counterclaims did you assert? Those affect what costs/fees you can recover. Don't you have an attorney? You probably should if this is actually an appeal.
