Typically the statute of limitations runs after 6 years from the date of last payment. You definitely have rights if you are being harassed. I suggest contacting a consumer attorney who can discuss your individual situation and help resolve the issues you are experiencing.
Our firm focuses on these types of situations and would be more than happy to hear from you. You can visit our website at www.mincal.com or call us directly at 952-314-1400 for a free consultation.
