Legal Question in Consumer Law in Minnesota
Default judgement
We won a default judgement against a contractor in the state of mn in 2002. He sold his home in 2003 and the title company failed to satisfy the judgement in spite of a judgment search. Are they responsbile for paying this judgement.

Re: Default judgement
Title company protects lenders and owners, not judgment creditors. If it was a HOMESTEAD, the property was EXEMPT anyway. How much was judgment for? Individual still in MN?
