Legal Question in Consumer Law in Minnesota

Degrogatory Charges on a famliy members credit card

My grandmother got a credit card for herself and from our understanding the salesman said if I wanted 1 i just had to sign. I have not received a bill in 10 years or was unaware I was responsible for this account. The account has since gone delinquent and the company is pursuing me. After disputing the charge the company sent me the original application in which i was a Co-Applicant. It was never my understanding that i was responsible for this account and that i signed to receive a secondary card under the primary account holders account. What can I do if anything.

Please help.
