Legal Question in Consumer Law in Minnesota
Rental Car Contract
I rented a car in Minnesota, a rock put a star in the windshield. The rental company wants me to pay for a replacement. I didn't purchase the insurance from the company. However when being checked out, I paid with no problems mentioned. As I'm boarding the courtesy shuttle a lady yelled at me about the windshied. My question is that since I paid and was officially no longer a customer of the rental car companies am I liable for the charge of fixing the windshield?

Yes. Your insurance should cover it.
