Legal Question in Consumer Law in Minnesota

small claim and judgement

I lost a judgement in mn. the place is now adding interest and colletions fees to the judgement they have not filed the paper work for recovery and statutory interest and cost.

Do they not have to file for those at the time we went to court? do i have to pay those if there is no paperwork asking for those monies? I have tried to pay the judgement amount and they will not accept.

What should I do. pay the amt on the judgement and go to court over the other fees which they say are about $500.00? Or just be done with this and pay all of it which I cannot afford to pay.

Please advise if i need a lawyer or what, these people are very hard to get along with.

also one letter they stated showed one amt and three days later they send another letter showing $300 more than the origianl letter. HELP

Call me Monday and we can talk about this.

You may still be able to negotiate if the appeal period has not run out.

Your financial/asset status is also relevant.
