Legal Question in Consumer Law in Minnesota
states where gift cards are redeemable for cash
I received several gift cards for the holidays and all of them have the phrase, ''not redeemable for cash except in those states which require redemption for cash''. The cards never say which states these are and I have found no luck in finding a list myself. I was wondering if Minnesota is such a state and if the law applies to gift cards purchased in another state.
