Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

I have an attorney/creditor after me for unpaid medical bills. These medical bills stem from 4 years ago when I was court ordered to attend therapy sessions when I didn't have health insurance and nowhere in the order does it state I had to repay or whom was to pay this debt. Am I liable for repayment?

Probably. It's hard to tell without more information. A bankruptcy would probably discharge these debts.
