Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

Car Repossession

I had a vehicle repossessed over 9

years ago in Minnesota, due to over

due loan payments. The vehicle was

repoed and it did effect my credit. It

is no longer on my credit report after

7 years and I recieved a call from a

law office this morning, regarding

them representing the car company

lender. I have not called the office

back as of yet...should I be worried

about them calling me after 9 years

of the vehicle being repossed?

Re: Car Repossession

Chances are the claim is barred by the operation of the statute of limitations. Attempts to enforce may give rise to you having a valid FDCPA claim.

Do not respond.
