Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

Credit card debt.

I have an unpaid credit card debt

from 2003. The amount is $900.00

and $2600 with interest. I was just

served a summons,not to go to court

but to answer the complaint within

20 days to the Plaintiffs attorney. It

says I should call the number at the

bottom of the summons but I'm not

sure what to expect or say?

just calling will NOT preserve your rights. You must file a WRITTEN answer. If you call presumably they will want to try to get you to agree to pay the bill.
