Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota
after a creditor has received a court judgement for me to pay them 9900.00 and I have been paying them, can they increase the amount they want me to pay? I understood the judgement amount was all they are entitled to.

Unless you have a written agreement where they accept monthly installments paying the judgment, they can go after the entire judgment (vs. non-exempt assets) and garnish your bank acct and wages.
They can also add interest and attys fees if they had a written document authorizing it.
Call or email for assistance.
