Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

death debt

my father passed with leaving me(18) and my two sisters(20)(16) with his debts to deal with he didnt have insurance to pay for things that we know of is there anyway to find out if he had insurance and another thing he had loans through a bank and my grandmother co-sighned for those loans is she responsible for those loans please i need to know things cause these things can really affect me and my familys lifes

There is alot to think about. Was he widowed or divorced? DO you think he may have had a will? Did he get his mail at home or at an office or PO Box?
