Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

Deceased husband's dental bill

My husband passed away two years ago and I was left with no money to pay his bills. I have always worked and continue to try and support myself. Any credit card accounts in his name only were written off by the crediters. The question I have is am I obligated to pay off his dentist bills for his dentures? It's about $2000. Our account was in his name and when he passed they put it in my name.
