Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

fair credit reporting act

I have an account I have been disputing for quite some time now and everytime I dispute it, they change law offices on me. I have a copy of all of the letters I have sent out with no response. I did recieve on letter back stating it was my account and that was it. No proof like I have been requesting. Can the creditor keep changing law offices everytime I dispute it? I have written letters to the creditor also with no response from them.

Re: fair credit reporting act

Is is a larger balance? WHat is admitted vs. claimed? Are they making any misrepresentations or harassing statements?

Other than changing lawfirms, your main issue is lack of verification?

They are obligated to provide that after 30 days from written request under the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Call or email for further assistance.
