Can I garnish wages on my stepson for unpaid student loans

I want to know if I can legally garnish the wages of my stepson to make sure that he pays his student loans that I'm a co-signor on. He is currently 47 days past due on one student load. He is not in school any longer and working full-time.

I am afraid that there is no legal authority for such a garnishment. To have any garnishment rights, you must have an agreement to that effect or a Judgement for an unpaid debt in your favor.
