Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

garnishing all my money in checking and savings

I have an account in collections. The creditor has emptied my bank account. They even took my savings. The collection is for $1818.53. They took $783.51 out which emptied my account. I do daycare and my normal bi-weekly check is only for about $750 plus my 15 year old sons social security for $624 monthly. I had several checks bounce. Can they empty my account like that? I dont understand the garnishing laws.

Did they get a judgment? Is the account valid?

You should have received some notice documents prior to garnishment. I would need to review to advise.
