Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

health debt collection

I can only afford to pay a small amount a month on my medical bill, i have no Ins.,Bot the hospital said it wasnt enough, now i have a collection agency telling me the same thing. i have told them i want to pay the bill but cant afford what they are asking. Do i have to put it on my credit card?They will turn me over to an attorney if I don't.Why cant I make payments?And what else or who can I talk to? I dont have money for a lawer.

I would tell them to go jump in the lake.They won't spend $$ on an attorney + lawsuit if you are judgment proof. (No assets or incomem)I would call them + do BACK OFF Letter for a small fee.
