Hospital Bills
We currently owe a small fortune in hospital bills. We are paying as much as we can afford each month. Even though they routinely accept our payments, they are threatening collection against us. If they are accepting our payments, can they do that?

You may wish to consider arranging an attorney to do a private workout, instead of bankruptcy. Unsecured creditors are offered a % of total amount, usually 10-40% to settle debt.
THey are NOT required to wait and can sue at any time balances are unpaid.
