What happens when my landlord places a judgement against me for past due rent?
For the past six months I have been consistently 60 days past due with my rent. I have made a rent payment each month, but have been slower than anticipated to catch up. As of today(4/4/05), I am 4 days past due for April 2005 rent. It is not likely that I will be able to pay the April rent until the end of the month. I still owe for late fees assessed over the past six months. My landlord gave me an eviction letter two weeks ago addressing the 60 days+latefees past due. He is still treatening to evict me and file a judgement against me.
I am unemployed, and I have nothing. I own nothing of value and I have no credit worthiness. What will happen if he evicts me and files a judgement against me?

If he evicts you (via a UD) you will have to move.
If he ALSO gets a judgment for unpaid rent (a different legal proceeding), he will try to collect from available non-exempt assets (which you indicate are non-existent) or wages (which you do not have.)
SOunds like he will not have much luck collecting on any judgment.
After a UD, however, you may find it difficult to rent again.
