Marriage tax lax
I owe back taxes. If I get married will the irs hold my new husband responsible for my debt.

No, your new spouse doesn't become responsible, but that won't stop them from levying a joint refund to pay off your back taxes. (there may be ways to get some of it back from the IRS, but they will start out by taking the entire refund if you owe more than that).
