medical bills now at debt collection
i can't the balance of our medical bills
from the debt collector. they told me
the amount i could afford was
unnacceptable, should i still send them
money? what will happen if i don't pay
them the 10% that they want?

They may sue,but it is likely they will negotiate with an attorney. Call or email for help. If you have other bills we would work those as well.

There are ususally several alternatives. You should contact an attorney in your area who practices bankruptcy law and/or consumer credit law to explore options.
