Small claims...

Can I sue for repayment of a personal loan across state lines? This debt is over 2.5 years old and I live in Minnesota and he lives in Florida? We have an oral agreement only. The amount in question is $3000.

Yes, but if the contract was made here in MN it might be most effective to bring an action in District Court under Long Arm Statute then transfer default judgment to FLA.
