Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

time share

I have a timeshare I have not been able to use and want to sell it. I have tried to market it online and have had some bad experiences with sham artist marketers. Can I just walk away form this timeshare. Would defaulting on this item kill me credit wise?

What are the repercussions of defaulting on a timeshare. It is causing us a finacial hardship.
