unlawful judgment

in 2003 i was a contractor in minnesota and i was sued for 4700 dollars , they had the wrong address for me and i was never served and never attended any court dates , the judgement was paid by the recovery fund , now i have been turned down for a home loan because of this judgement on my credit report , its listed as not paid , even though it was paid by the recovery fund . can i sue for damages because they didnt report it as paid ????

You would have to have an attorney review the judgment records (including affidavits of service etc.) prior to determining liability.
