Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
im 18 and a few months ago me and a girl how is 17 got into a fight. she was charged with a fifth degree assault but did not show up to court. now i guess its my dessision on what is to happen to her. i would like to have the fifth degree carry on and be on her recorded for the rest of her life but i dont know if it will. would a fifth degree assault stay on her recored even after she turns 18? her birthday is 2 months after the fight.
