Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
My 17 year old was charged with a small amount of marijuana. He was standing outside of a vehicle when a county sheriff pulled up. Drug paraphernalia was in the front seat, so the sheriff told all of them to empty their pockets. Is this a legal search?
