17 year old dating a 24 year old

can a 17 year old girl date a 24 year old, if they started dating when she was 16? can her mom do anything to stop it?

There is no reason a 17 year old cannot date a 24 year old, as a matter of law. When the girl was younger, there could have been an issue, if there was sexual contact. But at this point, it is a parenting issue that is not addressed by the law.
